蕭迪淵

蕭迪淵由10歲起研習古典敲擊樂，先後師承蔡淑芬和李善安，樂團經驗豐富，曾在小中大學校內外多個樂團擔任首席敲擊樂或定音鼓手，包括香港愛樂室樂管樂團和青年管樂團、Pro Arte樂團、KongU Big Band、香港同人管弦樂團。亦創立並帶領東華三院黃笏南中學敲擊樂團參加捷克「第三屆國際青年音樂比賽」捷獲金獎和最佳演繹特別獎。蕭氏現為香港同人管弦樂團的樂團經理、敲擊襄音樂及科藝統籌。曾任香港管弦樂團教育及外展主任。

蕭氏熱衷於音樂，除了演奏樂器外，編曲、配器和樂譜出版都有相當經驗。於2017年曾為中國國家交響樂團委託製譜。並跟本地樂團String Amarta、香港同人管弦樂團、香港節慶管弦樂團、Pro Arte樂團和各個本地作曲家建立長期編曲或製譜委託關係。蕭氏亦在2020年建立Notesetter Publishing為提供樂譜出版和編曲服務。

Natheniel Siu has been playing classical percussion since he was 10, and has studied with Choi Suk-fan and Elton Lee, two distinguished local percussionists. As an experienced percussionist, Natheniel has held principal positions as percussionist or timpanist in orchestras including Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonia, Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong, KongU Big Band, and Hong Kong Doujin Philharmonia. He also founded and led TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College’s Percussion Ensemble to win the Golden Award and the Special Prize for Original Interpretation in The 3rd International Youth Music Competition in Bratislava in 2011. The feat was reported in Mingpao. He is currently the orchestra manager of Hong Kong Doujin Philharmonia, and the Music and Technology Creator of Toolbox Percussion.

Natheniel is frequently sought professionally as orchestral arranger, music editor, engraver, and copyist in Hong Kong. He worked freelance with paying clients including China National Symphony Orchestra, Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, Hong Kong Doujin Philharmonia, the Strings Amarta, local composers such as the late Kwok Hang-kei and local music teachers from Hong Kong Music Office. Natheniel founded Notesetter Publishing as the first local professional sheet music publishing and music service provider in Hong Kong.
